Before coming to Goodwin House,
I rhymed only occasionally,
and mostly unintentionally
but, somehow, the new environment
inspired me more frequently
to propel
irreverent doggerel
about a person or event
without any one’s consent.
So, now I do several daily, without regret,
and share them on the Internet.
Thanks Goodwin House, for giving me
the inspiration to set my rhyme gene free.
