Having worked for nearly 30 years in retirement communities, I have been, and continue to be, pleased with what makes Goodwin House different from the rest. From the very first day I stepped into GHA, the Chapel caught my eye as a central focus – the spine, if you will – of Goodwin House. There was an emphasis on spirituality and religious connectedness at GHA that was unusual and refreshing. The residents sought, and received, strength from the Holy Spirit in this community and in this chapter of their lives. The heritage of our affiliation with the Episcopal Church was evident and alive. Goodwin House was, and is, a vibrant community based on faith and spiritual life for its residents and family members.
